In 1986, Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith founded the Agape International Spiritual Center, a trans-denominational spiritual community whose doors are open to all seekers in search of authentic spirituality, personal transformation, and selfless service to humankind. Today, thousands of people gather weekly to hear Michael’s inspirational messages at the Center in Culver City, California. Rev. Beckwith gained international fame as a star in the hit movie “The Secret.”
In his first PBS television special, The Answer Is You, Rev. Beckwith spoke, and his world-acclaimed choir performed, before a sold-out audience at the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles, an event that premiered nationally Nov. 27 through Dec. 10, 2009. Viewers of this 60-minute PBS Pledge Special were given the opportunity to find “greater understanding, self-awareness, courage and self-reliance, while supporting the extraordinary arts, education, documentary and news programs found only on PBS.” Musical guests included Rickie Byars Beckwith, Siedah Garrett, Niki Haris, Will.I.Am, and the renowned Agape International Choir.
Agape Media International and Stephen Powers engaged ResonantBrand to design the identity of the event and media packaging of the PBS pledge gifts and products from this event, including a Special Edition Book, Deluxe Edition DVD, Music CD, and Audio Program CD, seen below. In collaboration with Agape Media International, ResonantBrand created the brand system for the logo, general brand, and all the media packaging for this event. Through our alignment with Agape’s philanthropic mission, and our kinship with the desire to form conscious community, ResonantBrand exceeded the results that Rev. Michael and PBS hoped for.
Michael Beckwith has the capacity to fill the room with the presence of the “God-force,” however you define it.
